Curriculum Alignment Team
Description: The EPS Physical Education and Health Curriculum Alignment Team will work to align all course curriculum guides to new DESE Frameworks and best instructional practices. The team is responsible for unpacking the new 2023-24 Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Framework (as well as the National Health Education Standards for Health teachers), paying special attention to key features and priorities of the CHPE Framework, and for using the CHPE to review, modify, and design department-wide course curriculum. The team’s work should culminate with curriculum guides for every course that are inclusive of the new practices and standards, as well as instructional practices that support the learning needs of all students.
Working Time/Modality: Up to 40 Hours between November 1, 2025 and June 1, 2026 which will include mostly asynchronous teamwork, some asynchronous individual work and some synchronous meetings in-person and via Zoom.
Requirements: Current assignment as an EPS Physical Education or Health Teacher
Preferred Qualifications: Experience writing and reviewing curriculum
Compensation: $40/ hour- max stipend not to exceed $1,600
