Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band Drill/Colorguard Instructor
Job Summary:
Color guard Drill for the Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band program for Grades 9-12 will provide Dance Instruction for students with additional opportunities to develop their Dance and Movement skills.
Essential Duties
- Prepare and teach color guard routines and marching drill design
- Develop Dance Technique Program
- Attends all competitions (approximately 4) and home football games as needed by the Marching Band Director
- Attends all rehearsals during the course of the fall season
- Attends Band Camp
- Teaches and dance and movement to the Color guard section of the marching band
Requirements
- 2 years experience teaching dance technique for marching band Shows
- Ability to stay organized in order to plan events, and assist the Crimson Tide Marching Band Director in all aspects of Running the Dance Movement Section of the Band
- Knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy as well as modern dance techniques.
