Position Summary
Everett & Hurite Eyecare Specialists is a growing, independent, multi-specialty ophthalmic team currently seeking a full-time Optometrist. This position will work Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm to provide coverage for our Warrendale, PA and Weirton, WV offices, with additional offices being occasionally required. It is expected that this position will work out of Warrendale, PA 4 days out of the week, and out of our Weirton, WV office 1 day out of the week.
Responsibilities
Using the most advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and eye care products available, the full-time Optometrist will perform a mix of postoperative care, routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings and will assist in the management of medical diseases of the eye. In this position, the ideal candidate will support the mission of Everett & Hurite by providing patients and their families the most comprehensive and high-quality eye care.

About Everett & Hurite
Since its inception in 1974, Everett & Hurite has proudly served the eye care needs of Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. As of November 2026, we will have 6 locations in Western Pennsylvania, and 1 in West Virginia. The practice consists of 12 Ophthalmologists and 6 Optometrists, and is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, a fully integrated EHR, a state-of-the-art Dry Eye Wellness Center, and on-site clinical support.

Experience:
Optometrist: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree (Required)
state-issued license for O.D. and optometry (Required)
