About the Role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a visionary founder-CEO at a fast-growing, mission-driven technology company headquartered in San Francisco. You'll operate at the center of the organization — present for key decisions, managing the full scope of the CEO's professional and personal life, and serving as a trusted operational partner as the company scales. This is not a traditional EA role; it is an operational partnership that sits at the heart of a company moving fast and building something meaningful.
You are employed by Everest and embedded with our client on a dedicated, full-time basis — you are part of our team, representing our standard of excellence in a client environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Calendar Strategist: Own the CEO's calendar across professional and personal domains — optimize, protect, and ensure time reflects highest priorities (approx. 70% EA / 30% PA).
- Clear Communicator: Manage inbox triage, draft routine responses, surface what needs attention, and handle what doesn't.
- Operations Partner: Prepare briefing materials before key meetings, own action item capture and follow-through, and coordinate across the leadership team on the CEO's behalf to ensure alignment and prevent scheduling conflicts.
- Relationship Builder: Maintain a relationship tracker for key stakeholders — investors, board members, and institutional partners — and serve as the primary coordination point for speaking engagements, conference appearances, and media commitments.
- Project Supporter: Support board meeting preparation including materials, logistics, and follow-up tracking; coordinate with PR and communications teams on the CEO's public-facing schedule.
- Travel & Logistics Lead: Manage all travel logistics end-to-end: flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Household & Personal Concierge: Handle personal appointments, family logistics, household needs, gift coordination, and life logistics with full discretion.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years supporting a founder, CEO, or similarly high-demand executive.
- Emotional Intelligence: You read between the lines, iterate quickly, and receive redirecting feedback without taking it personally.
- Multi-Domain Strength: Equally capable in strategic operations and personal support.
- Core Strengths: Proactive, highly organized, and energized by complexity — you take pride in making high-performing leaders more effective.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with project management tools, CRM platforms, calendar systems, and communication tools for distributed teams.
Work Environment
- Location: Hybrid — San Francisco Bay Area
- Availability: Must be able to attend events, off-sites, and travel with the CEO as needed.
- Hours: Full-time
Compensation and Benefits
We are committed to providing a competitive compensation package that rewards your experience and contributions.
