Position Summary:
The Director of Purchasing is a key financial leader responsible for managing the organization’s enterprise purchasing functions within Everent Health Inc. and its affiliates. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, purchasing, and cost- effective acquisition of goods and services to support high-quality patient care. In addition, the Director leads vehicle procurement and manages internal fleet operations critical to delivering patient care. The Director ensures all procurement activities align with the company’s operational and financial goals. The Director works cross-functionally and collaboratively with clinical and executive leadership to support the organization’s financial sustainability and growth.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in procurement with at least three years of procurement and supply chain management experience.
- Proven experience with contract negotiation, vendor management, and proficiency in procurement software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed independent decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment in support of organizational objectives.
