Position Summary:
The Contracts Specialist will assist the Contracts Supervisor, EHI Legal Team and executive and organizational leadership in the drafting, finalization, execution, renewal, and management of the organization’s healthcare services, supplies, equipment, leasing, and other business and service line contracts ensuring contracts support organizational strategy, mitigate risk, and comply with applicable healthcare laws and regulatory requirements. The Contracts Specialist serves as a subject matter expert on contract structure, language, and risk management, and plays a key role in improving contract processes, templates, and governance across the organization.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience drafting, finalizing, and managing contracts (in a healthcare or legal setting preferred). Advanced legal degrees, paralegal certification, or contract management certifications may substitute for some experience.
