What is the Position? Evercore seeks to hire Analysts for its Liability Management & Restructuring Advisory Team in New York City.
Primary Responsibilities: Evercore’s differentiated approach to advisory provides Analysts with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions around the world. The small transaction team structure creates a strong platform for Analysts to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments including: liability management and chapter 11 restructurings, tender and exchange offers, distressed M&A transactions, bank amendments, private and syndicated debt financings and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives.
Specific Qualifications: The Analyst will be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful. The candidate will be passionately interested in a career in investment banking, intellectually curious and eager to learn. We are seeking an academically accomplished candidate with the ability to multitask. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

- Eagerness to learn and be involved in complex transactions
- 1-2 years of experience in the finance industry – experience in distress / restructuring or leveraged finance ideal but not required
Expected Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
