Experienced Equity Research Associate / Senior Associate - MedTech/Life Science Tools & Diagnostics Region Americas Location New York Group Investment Banking Job description What is the Position: Evercore seeks to hire a Research Associate to support the Senior Research Analyst equity research coverage of MedTech, Life Science Tools, and Diagnostics companies. This opportunity is located in New York, NY and we are looking for an immediate hire. Responsibilities include: Develop and update company-specific and industry financial models Perform financial and valuation analysis of MedTech, Life Science Tools, and Diagnostics companies Author industry and company-specific research reports Oversee data collection and monitor investor news services Other duties as necessary Specific Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and should be comfortable working independently as well as in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior equity research or investment banking experience is preferred. Preferred background in equity research, investment banking, consulting or finance-related fields with 0-3 years of experience Exceptional analytical and modeling capabilities Excellent communication skills; the job entails significant writing and PowerPoint responsibilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Concrete understanding of / demonstrated interest in corporate finance & equity markets Industry exposure is a plus, but not required Desire to get your hands dirty to drive the success of a leading MedTech / Tools franchise Team player Expected Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $175,000 In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity.
