What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sweeper Truck Driver - Part Time position at Evercor Facility Management?
Evercor Facility Management has a part-time opportunity for a Sweeper Truck Driver to sweep parking lots for commercial properties and major construction projects in the Lancaster and surrounding areas. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with excellent customer service skills, collaborative work style, and a focus on effective communication with internal and external business partners. You will have full support of our management team and be working alongside leaders with years of knowledge and experience in the facility maintenance industry. We operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, servicing some of the largest fortune 500 companies in the country.
Available shift: Must be flexible with shifts to accommodate client services.
Night Shift - Part Time (Up to 20 Hours)
Pay: Starts at $18/hour
**Additional pay opportunity with prevailing wage jobs and overtime**
Responsibilities include:
- Power sweep paved parking lot areas with an Air-Vac Sweeper Truck.
- Manual removal of debris from parking lots, sidewalks, curbs, building entrances, and hard to reach areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of dumpster enclosures near parking spots.
- Porter property, including emptying trashcans
Requirements:
- Valid PA Driver License and clean driving record.
- Ability to learn quickly and be trained on Sweeper Truck.
- Valid DOT Medical card.
- Good verbal and written communication and follow-through skills.
- Competency in completing pre and post trip inspections and other required paperwork.
- Accuracy following driving directions and utilizing GPS maps.
- Good knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
- Drug screen with negative results upon offer of employment.
