About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative to expand our presence and drive growth within the waste management and recycling sector. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building new relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Identify, qualify, and close new customer accounts
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships to maximize retention and revenue
- Conduct customer education on products, services, and industry best practices
- Develop a strong understanding of client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and internal teams
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or outside sales
- Background in the waste management industry required
- Strong preference for experience in industrial wastewater and oil recycling
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a territory-based role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
