Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of sanitation.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms efficiently.
• Maintain floors through specialized care such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor waxing to ensure durability and appearance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during residential or commercial cleaning visits.
• Manage custodial responsibilities in hotel or hospitality settings, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are spotless and well-maintained.
• Follow proper safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist with janitorial tasks like waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, especially within commercial or hospitality environments.
• Experience with residential cleaning tasks including house cleaning, laundry, and basic housekeeping management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor waxing enhances your suitability for this role.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Previous hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively; certifications in carpet cleaning or floor care are beneficial.
