Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Laundromat Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our laundromat. This role includes assisting customers, performing wash-and-fold services, maintaining facility cleanliness, and handling transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist customers with laundry-related questions and service needs.
• Perform wash-and-fold services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging customer orders.
• Process dry cleaning and wash-and-fold drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring garments are handled with care.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer orders.
• Keep the facility clean and organized by routinely sanitizing machines, folding areas, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or operational issues to management.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all customers.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior experience in laundry services, dry cleaning, or cleaning services is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Availability to work weekends is required.

Schedule

Available shifts:
Friday and Sunday, 10:00am - 4:00pm with possible additional hours.
