Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness are met, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and routes to ensure efficient use of staff and resources
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Manage supplies and inventory, ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to perform their duties
• Respond to resident and staff concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement new cleaning protocols and procedures
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk between rooms
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
