What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Evercare of Breese?
Job Summary:
The Dietary/Kitchen Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.
Essential Duties:
Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, kitchen, facility etc., is prepared or kept in accordance with sanitary regulations.
Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
Assist in preparation, cooking and clean-up of meals and prep areas.
Qualifications:
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
Kitchen experience is preferred.
Must have a flexible schedule and availability every other weekend.
