Position Summary
The Lean Coordinator will champion continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations, working closely with management and production teams to eliminate waste, streamline processes, and foster a culture of efficiency and teamwork.
You’ll operate with autonomy, take initiative, and be hands-on in driving projects that make a measurable difference in safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) projects throughout the facility.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S initiatives, and setup reduction activities.
- Implement and manage Kanban and constraint management systems.
- Partner with team leads to identify and remove process waste.
- Train and mentor employees in Lean principles and problem-solving methods.
- Track project results, measure ROI, and report improvements to management.
- Coordinate with materials and production teams to ensure smooth inventory and supply flow.
- Conduct follow-up reviews to ensure sustained improvements.
- Support customer satisfaction efforts by addressing quality concerns and process gaps.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 5 years of experience leading Lean Manufacturing or CI projects in a production environment.
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and drive measurable improvements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and Standard Work.
- Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (preferred but not required).
