What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fireplace Service & Installation Technician position at Everburn Manufacturing Inc.?
Housewarmings, Lexington’s premier Home, Hearth and Grill Store, is looking for two full-time Service & Installation Technicians to join our growing service department.
This is a great opportunity for someone with construction, mechanical, HVAC, appliance installation, chimney, or fireplace experience who wants steady full-time work, paid training, and a long-term career path in the hearth industry.
What You’ll Do
- Install and service fireplaces, gas logs, inserts, grills, mantels, and related hearth products
- Work in customers’ homes and provide professional, courteous service
- Use basic construction and hand-tool skills
- Troubleshoot service issues with training and support from our experienced team
- Take ownership of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Construction, mechanical, HVAC, appliance, chimney, or installation experience preferred
- Fireplace service or installation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
- Dependable, hard-working, and able to work well with a team
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working with tools and learning new skills
- Valid driver’s license is a must
- Ability to lift, carry, and work safely in jobsite conditions
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Hours may occasionally shift to 8:00 to 4:30 based on customer availability.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be needed during busy season
