Electronic Repair Technician

Duties

• Audit signs and ensure proper function occurs.
• Pass a written and hands on test.
• Inspect and test equipment.
• Reproduce, isolate, and diagnose problems.
• Disassemble equipment as necessary to access problematic components.
• Clean, repair, and replace components.
• Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.
• Keep records of repairs, tests, parts, and labor hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician or in electronic equipment repair with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting manuals.
• Skilled in using hand tools, soldering irons, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and computer hardware components.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to perform comprehensive equipment repairs.
