Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, kitchen stations, and food prep zones by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure quick turnaround times in a fast-paced environment.
- Support team members with food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS system toast is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math are essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or stocking supplies.
