Job Description: As a Barista at EverBean by the Lake, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding coffee and customer service. You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items including food. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and dedication to quality will contribute to the overall success of our coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customization requests are met.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages & food items, following recipes and quality standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision.
• Froth milk and create latte art to enhance the presentation of beverages.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
• Uphold a high level of customer service and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly.
• Restock and replenish coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and health code guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a restaurant environment or experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different coffee beans and brewing methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
