Accounting Manager

Summary:
As a leader in our Finance Department, Everas Accounting Manager is responsible to oversee all day-to-day financial operations including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and compliance. Duties include preparing and processing accounts payable vouchers, developing agency contract/proposal budget/fiscal details, and assisting in the day-to-day financial functions of the office. Based in Somerset, the successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong ability to prioritize under strict timelines and competing priorities.
Accounting Manager Duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervising department’s accounting functions and staff
- Oversee and manages the development and implementation of billing/collection systems
- Oversee and manage payroll system
- Assist and manage proposal/contract fiscal development/reporting
- Assist in preparation for the annual fiscal audits
- Develop and monitor agency financial forecasting and cash flow

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business with seven years of experience in accounting
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and excellent knowledge in accounting and database systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and cooperative teamwork skills
