EVENTure is looking for a Logistics Coordinator with the opportunity to transition to Logistic Manager within 6 months of employment based on company fit and performance. The position will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and play a key role in our day to day operations and success. EVENTURE is a female-owned and operated, meeting and event planning company with full-service housing coordination and travel agency. For over a decade, EVENTURE offers Clients both full service and a-la-carte organization and execution of local, national and international events of all sizes and formats. Our experienced housing and travel specialists, supported by state-of-the-art software, offer Clients a turn-key experience by negotiating and managing all hotel, lodging and transportation and events. Responsibilities primarily include providing administrative support for principals and staff. Candidates should possess a high level of motivation and initiative as well as strong writing and organizational skills. Candidates should be highly skilled in the MS Office suite of products with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is required.
REQUIRED.:
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and can organize their workload and time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall general administrative office support
- Write and distribute email correspondence
- Manage and organize client proposals in Excel and GoogleSheets
- Assist with event related duties and special projects
- Manage basic social media posts and updates
- Comfortable with answering and directing phone calls with hotels, vendors and clients
- Coordinate appointments by phone, email and meeting requests
- Prepare templated reports and proposals for clients
- Overall general administrative office support
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office administrative work Excellent time management skills
- Great customer service & communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be reliable, honest and punctual
Ability to complete multiple tasks on short deadlines and prioritize work Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word & Excel) & Google Docs and Sheets
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Reliable Transportation
- Typing Speed – Minimum 50 WPM EDUCATION: High school degree required with a minimum 2 years of college experience
POSITION TYPE:
The position will start as an hourly part time position and after a 30 day review if the candidate is a good fit, then the position has the opportunity to continue as part time, transition to full time or into a salaried position
. IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALITIES :
- Proficient in Apple products: Macbook Air/Pro, iPhone and iPad (Independent contractor will be provided with all equipment at time of hire to use during company hours).
- Assistant and/or in-office clerical/administrative/support experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Preferred knowledge of Asana & Weebly, but not mandatory
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry, booking reservations with hotels online and through contracts and hotel group blocks.
- Experience with team sport travel personally or through work experience
SETTING:
- Work in shared office space in Cool Springs Area in Franklin, TN
- On-site gym, coffee bar, snack shop and recreational areas for break time
- Ability to work remotely once trained and dependent on the task

- Immediate Hire- Looking to hire for training as early as Septemebr 22nd with a start time preferrably Monday, October 13th.
