Hiring motivated and professional Delivery Route Drivers. Operating out of the local FedEx terminal, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of packages to residential and business locations. We provide the vehicle (step vans), the technology, and the support—you provide the grit and the service. Availability: We operate 7 days a week; weekend availability is required. Flexibility: We are looking for flexible individuals ready to meet the demands of the route. Dispatch: Routes typically dispatch no later than 10:00 AM and are completed once all packages are delivered. Responsibilities Terminal Operations: Arrive at the FedEx terminal promptly to pick up your vehicle and assigned packages. Safe Handling: Respectfully load, organize, and unload packages from the truck. Safe Driving: Deliver packages to destinations while strictly adhering to all DOT, State of Florida laws, and company/FedEx policies. Timely Pickups: Ensure all scheduled package pickups are completed at the required times. Integrity in Logistics: Scan and log packages accurately, ensuring proper coding, photo documentation, and traceability. Professionalism: Provide a high level of customer service to FedEx staff, recipients, and business owners. Requirements Driving Experience: 1 year of verifiable work-related driving experience within the last 3 years. (Military driving and other parcel delivery experience are highly encouraged.) Age: Must be 21 years of age or older. Screenings: Must pass a drug test, background check, and DOT Medical/Physical Exam. Driving Record: Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Physical Demands: Ability to lift packages ranging from 1 lb up to 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using a handcart. Constant movement, getting in and out of the truck at each stop. Volume: Capacity to deliver 100–150 parcels daily (up to 200 during peak holiday seasons). Communication: Must be able to speak and read English.
