Event Staff - Zoom Motorsports

General Purpose:

Join the dynamic and customer experience focused team at Eventive Sports Properties, LLC, a Troon Company as an Event Assistant. As part of our team Event Assistants will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for event attendees. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with event set-up, including arranging equipment, placing signage, and other tasks as assigned
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, organization and compliance with venue policies
• Answer questions and provide information about event, facilities, and amenities to guests
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure event operations
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a high standard of professionalism and service excellence

• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy items (chairs, coolers, tables, etc.) (50 lbs)
• Ability to work long and strenuous hours (12 hour workdays during events)
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, repair, or modify structures and work with various tools and equipment (including but not limited to saws, drills, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, paint sprayers, box cutters, knives, motor vehicles/trucks/golf carts/etc.)

• This position primarily involves working outdoors at various event locations.
• Candidates should be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and wind.
• The work environment may expose employees to moderate to high noise levels due to event activities, crowds and equipment.

• Valid Driver’s License    

• Knowledge/interest in sports is an advantage, but not required
