What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director (RN) – Home Health (Startup Leadership Opportunity) position at Eventide Visiting Nurse Alliance (EVNA)?
Eventide Visiting Nurse Alliance (EVNA)
South Shore, Massachusetts
A Startup Opportunity - With a Proven Foundation
Eventide Visiting Nurse Alliance (EVNA) is an emerging Medicare-certified Home Health Agency currently in development, and we are seeking a Clinical Director (RN) to help bring it to life.
This is a rare opportunity to join prior to licensure and certification, working directly with the Administrator and CEO to build, shape, and lead a home health agency designed for rapid, sustainable growth.
EVNA is part of William B. Rice Eventide Home, a mission-driven nonprofit organization with over 100 years of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Backed by an experienced Board of Directors with deep healthcare expertise, we are building on a legacy of excellence while looking toward the future of care delivery.
A Strategic & Supported Launch
We are taking a thoughtful, high-quality approach to launching EVNA:
- Preparing for Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) accreditation
- Partnering with an experienced home health consultant to guide startup, compliance, and operational readiness
- Building infrastructure, systems, and workflows aligned with best-in-class home health agencies
- Establishing strong referral relationships across the South Shore
We anticipate this role beginning in June, with initial focus on startup planning and operational readiness, transitioning into full clinical leadership upon regulatory approval.
A Unique Built-In Advantage
Unlike a typical startup, EVNA is being developed within an established, high-performing active independent living campus, creating immediate opportunity for growth and impact:
- Dwyer Home (Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation) – consistently maintaining a 25–30 short-term rehab census, with ongoing daily discharges creating a strong pipeline for potential home health services
- Fairing Way – a thriving independent living community with 211 apartments and over 250 residents on campus
- Wingspan Outpatient Rehab – our expanding outpatient therapy program supporting continued recovery and wellness
This integrated model provides a natural referral network and continuum of care, positioning EVNA for strong census growth from day one.
