Warehouse & Delivery Assistant — Chairs For Affairs | Concord, CA
Chairs For Affairs Party Rentals, located at 140 Mason Circle, Suite J in Concord, CA, is hiring full-time and part-time Warehouse/ Delivery Assistants to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, physical position, vital to our operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining chairs, tables, tents, and dishes, loading and unloading trucks, delivering and setting up rental inventory at event sites, and assisting customers with loading and unloading at our warehouse. Minimal experience is ok — just a strong work ethic, reliability, and a good attitude.
Schedule
Shifts may be scheduled any day of the week, Monday through Sunday, though weekend shifts are less frequent during our slower months. Core hours are generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with early mornings and later-evening pickups common from April through November. Open availability is preferred.
We are a seasonally driven business — May through November is our busy season, with frequent overtime, weekend work, and plenty of opportunities for additional hours and bonuses. The off-season brings a lighter pace with primarily warehouse-based work.
Hours & Availability
- Part-time: 16 guaranteed hours/week
- Full-time: 32 guaranteed hours/week
- Additional hours are regularly available during peak season and overtime is regular and required.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work comfortably in all weather conditions
- Must pass a physical skills assessment
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability preferred
