Position Summary
As a Uniformed Unarmed Associate, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment at a distribution facility in Athens, Texas. You will be a visible presence on-site, conduct routine patrols, monitor for safety concerns, and respond professionally to incidents as they arise.
This role is ideal for someone who is alert, calm under pressure, and takes pride in doing the job the right way. You will interact with employees and visitors daily, so strong communication and conflict resolution skills are essential.
Essential Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises (indoors and outdoors) to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
- Monitor facility areas and access points to maintain a secure environment.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors by answering questions and offering clear direction.
- Enforce facility rules and safety protocols consistently and professionally.
- Report incidents, irregularities, and safety concerns promptly using established reporting protocols and software.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and records of activities, incidents, and observations.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures
- Texas Level 2 License (Non-Commissioned Security Officer) required
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification preferred
