HR Manager (ADP Workforce Now Expert | Large-Scale Workforce)
Location: Lewis Center, OH (On-site)
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) equity

The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-impact HR Manager to lead and scale our HR function during a period of rapid national growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep expertise in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and a proven track record supporting complex, high-volume workforces (1,000 employees).
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with leadership while driving day-to-day HR operations that directly influence workforce performance, compliance, and employee experience.
First 30 Days Focus:
You will quickly assess, modernize, and standardize HR processes and policies to support a rapidly expanding workforce, ensuring scalability, compliance, and operational consistency across all locations.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Strategy
• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of HR professionals (recruiters, generalists, trainers)
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce strategy, organizational design, and growth planning
• Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and engagement
HR Operations & Compliance
• Oversee all HR functions across a multi-state workforce of 1,000 employees
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Lead employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution with sound judgment
ADP Workforce Now (Critical)
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
• Own payroll, timekeeping, HRIS, and reporting within ADP
• Optimize workflows, system utilization, and data integrity
• Leverage data insights to inform workforce planning and business decisions
Talent & Workforce Management
• Lead high-volume recruiting and nationwide hiring initiatives
• Drive onboarding, retention strategies, and workforce planning
• Oversee performance management and employee development programs
Analytics & Reporting
• Build and maintain HR dashboards using ADP and advanced Excel
• Deliver actionable insights on turnover, staffing, compliance, and performance trends
What You Bring
Required
• 5 years of HR leadership or management experience
• Experience supporting organizations with 1,000 employees
• Advanced, hands-on expertise in ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law and compliance
• Proven success in high-volume recruiting and workforce operations
• Advanced Excel skills (reporting, pivot tables, data analysis)
Leadership Profile
• Hands-on, execution-oriented leader who can also think strategically
• Strong decision-maker with sound judgment in fast-paced environments
• High sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification
• Experience in security, staffing, or high-turnover industries
• Experience scaling HR processes in high-growth environments
