Join our team as a Project Manager / Operations Crew member and play a key role in delivering high-quality live events. This position is hands-on and fast-paced, supporting the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of events of all sizes.
Project Managing for a specific client who has many events. Key responsibilities:
- Reading layouts to see tables, chairs, pipe & drape, and more.
- Making sure all equipment needed is put in to our database for each event.
- Coordinating set up/strike times for many events with this specific client.
- Weekly zoom meeting with client to review up coming events. .
- Other misc tasks.
- Setting up tables, linen, chairs, pipe and drape, and more.
- Leading crew to follow the layout set up and strikes for this specific client.
- Pulling equipment in warehouse to be ready for set up and restocking equipment after event is finished.
- Load and unload trucks with equipment.
- Ability to drive a sprinter van, and ideally a 26FT box truck. No CDL is required.
- Work collaboratively with team members, project managers, and clients.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and report any issues or damaged equipment.
Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50 lbs regularly
- Experience with event setup, staging, or production is preferred (but not required)
- Comfortable driving large vehicles, preferred (but not required)
- Strong work ethic and reliability—shows up on time and ready to work
- Ability to work long hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends. Schedule shifts depending on event schedule.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude (tools, equipment handling, assembly)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean background as we work with education institutions and government agencies that require a clean background check.
- Fast-paced, hands-on, and team-driven
