What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Operations Manager position at Event Rents?
Event Rents is Colorado’s premier party rental provider. Our customer service, quality of products, and attention to detail are the components that have made our ascension to the top of our industry possible. We are currently seeking to fill a Assistant Operations Manager role in our warehouse in Gypsum, CO. This role is the backbone for our day-to-day operations and will be responsible for warehousing, logistics, and deliveries
.
Responsibilities:
- Managing daily inventory moving in and out of the warehouse.
- Continuous coordination with warehouse department heads to ensure proper inventory levels and equipment condition
- Work with OPerations Managers and General Manager to ensure that the facility and grounds are well maintained
- As needed, order equipment, cleaning supplies, and paper goods
- OSHA regulations
- Interstate transit laws
- Continual reinforcement of company policies and standards through regularly scheduled meetings
- General trouble-shooting and on the fly problem solving
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in writing, typing, and via telephone
- Basic computer knowledge
- Exceptional problem solving and customer service skills
- Must have the ability to work weekends
- Always promote a positive attitude and create a safe work place
- Managerial experience in a dispatching or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to lift 100 lbs repeatedly
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
