Position: Sales / Photographer Associate
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and photograph guests attending the luau
- Assist customers in viewing and purchasing their photos
- Package photographs
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive guest relationships
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area
- Set up and break down photography/sales equipment
- Stay up to date on product knowledge
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Photography experience not required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing personality and customer-focused mindset
- This is an outdoor position. Each shift includes setting up and breaking down the work area, which involves pushing a loaded cart and popping up tables and stanchions. Candidates must be comfortable with light-to-moderate physical activity.
Schedule & Location:
- The luau runs on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evenings
- Typical shifts:
- Slow nights: 4:30/5:00 PM – 7:00/7:30 PM
- Busy nights: 4:00/4:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Part-time position, only 1–3 shifts per week
- Flexible with school schedules
Compensation:
- Starting at $16.00/hour, plus commission beginning after your first week. Associates typically earn $18–$23/hour total when factoring in commission.
