Job Description – Marketing Manager
eVent® fabrics—a privately held, global performance fabrics business focused on supplying high performance waterproof breathable fabrics to top apparel and footwear brands and companies—is expanding its marketing organization to handle growing global interest in the eVent® brand with the addition of a Marketing Manager in
China. The Marketing Manager will contribute to business growth supporting all aspects of brand development, promotion, and customer sell-in and sell-through.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Management to create and implement B2B2C marketing strategies and initiatives that drive business growth.
- Ensure consistent global brand image and messaging.
- Take day to day ownership of the website including the third party web design team.
- Collaborate with fellow marketing team to create and distribute compelling digital marketing tools.
- Own the strategic relationships with third party contracts and PR agencies that support marketing initiatives.
- Drive lead generation efforts for the North American and European markets.
- Play and active roll in new product introductions from a marketing perspective.
- Manage the marketing budget.
- Have a team mentality to support fellow marketing teammates to execute projects on time and within scope.
- Build and manage a team of brand ambassadors who are responsible for brand advocacy, engagement and delivering content that can be leveraged across our digital channels.
- Travel Expectations: Not to exceed 40 nights per year away from home. Domestic and International.
Skills & Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications / journalism, or a related field of study
- 4-7 years of marketing experience.
- Competencies in digital marketing platforms and analytics to drive strategic decisions.
- Experience managing and executing marketing projects.
- Ability to work in a creative, face-paced and globally-focused environment.
- Self-starter who is entrepreneurial and agile.
- Be a data-driven decision maker.
- Team player with a service-mindset, interest in developing a versatile skill set, and willingness to assist with projects that might fall outside defined roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure without overlooking the details.
- High technical aptitude with the ability to convey complex information in a way that’s relevant and easy to understand.
