About Event One Operations
Event One Operations is a Central Texas public safety agency and full-service event firm specializing in security services, emergency management, and event coordination. We are law-enforcement adjacent in standards, appearance, and conduct — not event or mall security. We are staffing a new 24/7 armed security program at a premier client campus and are hiring a full team.
What You'll Do
- Stand an armed security post on a 24/7 campus, protecting people, property, and assets
- Conduct vehicle patrols, foot patrols, checkpoint operations, and access control
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical calls; de-escalate and stabilize situations
- Coordinate with dispatch, supervisors, and responding law enforcement, fire, and EMS
- Write clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident reports every shift
- Enforce site access, visitor, and vehicle protocols with professionalism and consistency
- Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, guests, and visitors
What You Need
- Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer license with armed endorsement — current, or the ability to obtain it before your start date (we can help you through the process)
- TASER/CEW certification — current, or willingness to complete certification before standing an armed post (provided by us)
- Willingness to begin Emergency Care Attendant (ECA) training after hire — paid, and it makes you a stronger responder
- 21 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check, drug screen, and E-Verify
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in outdoor Texas conditions
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a law-enforcement-adjacent standard
Preferred
- Prior law enforcement, military, corrections, or armed security experience
- Experience on a large campus, venue, industrial site, or high-traffic property
- Current EMT, ECA, EMR, or comparable medical certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Consistent full-time schedule with every other weekend off

Pay: $26.50 - $27.50 per hour
