We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and efficiently. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Support servers by refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, and responding to guest needs promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to following food safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous but not mandatory.
