Job Overview: Porters play a vital role in both maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team while upholding the highest standards in guest eating and drinking experiences. Porters are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, rooftops, and back of house areas. The ideal candidate displays the ability and willingness to learn and take direction, the capability to manage multiple daily responsibilities, and ensure adherence to sanitation codes and company standards.  

Responsibilities: 

• Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas, ensuring floors are clean of debris and trash.
• Clean and sanitize equipment in assigned areas.
• Monitor, clean, and empty trash cans, and replace liners as needed. 
• Ensure restrooms are supplied with bathroom tissue, soap, paper towels, and toiletry items remain fully stocked.
• Wipe down and sanitize counters.
• Collect debris and used tableware, such as cups, cans, and flatware.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete all housekeeping tasks as directed by management.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Monitor the use and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

• 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Work will include indoor and/or outdoor areas. Must have the ability to withstand high and low temperatures.
• Tasks are performed from a non-sitting and sitting position and includes bending, stooping, climbing and reaching.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to nightlife environmental factors, including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment.
