Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging pickleball lessons, clinics, and drills for players from beginner to advanced levels.
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching to improve technique, strategy, and confidence.
- Foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning environment consistent with JCC values.
- Assist with tournaments, special events, and league play.
- Ensure safety protocols and facility rules are followed at all times.
- Experience playing and/or coaching pickleball.
- Pickleball instructor certification (PPR, IPTPA, or PCI) preferred — or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt coaching style to different ages and skill levels.
- Energetic, dependable, and team-oriented.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
