The brand sits between streetwear and classic, high-quality style, balancing timelessness with personality through refined materials, thoughtful details, and everyday wearability. Rooted in storytelling, EVE creates pieces that move through life with our customer, clothing made for both today and tomorrow. This summer, EVE will open a seasonal store at American Dream in New Jersey. We are looking to hire Seasonal Sales Associates for full-time and part-time positions starting June 12 through the end of July.
Role Description
We are seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team in New York, NY. This is full and part-time, on-site role focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales in alignment with EVE’s values. Responsibilities include assisting customers with product selection, maintaining displays and the retail environment, executing daily sales transactions, and delivering knowledgeable insights about the brand's products. The role also involves building lasting relationships with customers through excellent service and an understanding of EVE's philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Represent EVE on the sales floor with warmth, professionalism, and a clear understanding of the brand
- Create an elevated, welcoming, and personal shopping experience for every customer
- Engage customers through thoughtful conversation, product knowledge, styling guidance, and fit recommendations
- Communicate the EVE brand story, product details, fabric quality, sizing, and collection point of view
- Drive sales by building genuine customer relationships and supporting customers through the full shopping experience
- Maintain a polished and organized store environment throughout the day
- Support visual standards, including folding, steaming, merchandising, restocking, and product presentation
- Assist with fitting room service, product pulls, size checks, and customer styling needs
- Process transactions accurately through the POS system
- Support opening and closing procedures as needed
- Assist with inventory receiving, replenishment, stock organization, and product counts
- Communicate customer feedback, product interest, sizing notes, and sales observations to the EVE team
- Support store events, activations, and special moments during the summer store
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and store standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, luxury retail, hospitality, showroom, styling, or another customer-facing role preferred
- Strong interest in fashion, menswear, styling, emerging brands, and customer experience
- Natural ability to connect with customers in a way that feels polished, personal, and not overly sales-driven
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking about product, fit, styling, and brand story
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for presentation and store standards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative without waiting to be asked
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to learn product details, store procedures, and brand messaging quickly
- Comfortable using basic retail technology, including POS systems and customer communication tools
- Flexible availability from June 12 through the end of July, including weekends, holidays, and peak store hours
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and move product throughout the day
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Comfortable climbing a step stool or ladder when needed for merchandising or stockroom support
- Comfortable moving regularly between the sales floor, fitting rooms, cash wrap, and stock areas
- Ability to operate store equipment, including POS systems, phones, steamers, and basic retail tools
- Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Salary Range
- $22 - $27 per hour
- Each employee will also receive EVE product to wear and represent the brand during the seasonal store
