As a new Full-Time Quality Engineer at EVCO Plastics, you can expect a structured and engaging work environment, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards. You will regularly review production processes, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions. You will prepare detailed quality reports, documenting findings and trends, and presenting them during weekly meetings. Daily interactions with cross-functional colleagues will be crucial as you work on continual improvement initiatives.

Additionally, you will participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with our quality management system and production technologies. By actively engaging in problem-solving and quality assurance activities, you will play an essential role in upholding EVCO Plastics' commitment to excellence.

To thrive as a Full-Time Quality Engineer at EVCO Plastics, candidates should possess a strong foundation in quality engineering principles and practices, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in quality management tools, statistical process control (SPC), and Six Sigma methodologies will be essential for success in this role. Experience with quality audit procedures and ISO standards will further enhance your effectiveness.

Familiarity with software such as Minitab or other statistical analysis tools will aid in performing data analysis and generating insightful reports. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues are necessary to ensure product compliance with quality standards. Excellent communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively across departments while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
