    POSITION INFORMATION

    Vacancy: Girls Head Soccer Coach
    Location: Central High School
    Dates: 2026-27 School Year
    Pay: $7301

    PRIMARY FUNCTION:
    To develop and implement an exemplary athletic program that provides the highest quality education and growth opportunities for every student athlete.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Prior coaching experience preferred.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To accept and fulfill responsibilities beyond the team setting as they pertain to school expectations.
    • To assume responsibility for care of materials, equipment, and facilities.
    • To ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment that supports the well-being of all student athletes.

    • Subject Matter
      • To exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the sport or area being coached, ensuring effective instruction and guidance for student athletes.
      • To effectively adapt instruction of strategy and fundamentals to align with the individual needs, abilities, and interests of student-athletes.
    • Planning/Materials
      • To develop and sustain an organized athletic program guided by well structured, long term planning.
      • To demonstrate effective planning and organization while employing a diverse range of appropriate strategies and resources to enhance student athlete development.
    • Techniques/Delivery
      • To clearly convey fundamental coaching expectations to student athletes and explain their significance for personal, athletic, and academic growth.
      • To utilize appropriate and varied coaching techniques and learning activities.
      • To maintain an effective system of monitoring student progress and to inform appropriate persons.
