Your Mission:
As a GoodGuide, you’ll be a key member of the Mission Services team, reporting to the Vice President of Mission Services. This role advances Goodwill’s mission by supporting employees in achieving personal and professional growth while fostering a healthy, engaged workplace culture. Through individualized coaching, goal setting, and connection to internal programs and community resources, you’ll help employees overcome barriers and achieve meaningful, self-sufficient outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Employee Coaching & Goal Planning: Build trusting, person-centered relationships and develop Individual Career Plans aligned with employees’ personal and professional goals.
- Barrier Removal & Resource Navigation: Assess needs and connect employees to Goodwill programs, community partners, and wrap-around services.
- Financial & Career Development Support: Provide guidance in budgeting, financial stability, career growth, and job retention.
- Case Management & Accountability: Monitor progress, maintain regular contact, and ensure follow-through on action plans using case management tools and data tracking.
- Collaboration & Advocacy: Partner with retail leadership, HR, and community agencies to coordinate services, advocate for employees, and ensure seamless support delivery.
Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
Salary:
$40,000–$45,000 annually
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
- Evening and weekend availability as needed
- Travel required within approximately a 75-mile radius
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; 2 years of coaching, mentoring, or case management experience preferred.
- Coaching & Relationship Building: Ability to motivate, engage, and support individuals using a strengths-based, person-centered approach.
- Communication & Conflict Resolution: Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Resource & Community Knowledge: Familiarity with community resources and experience working with diverse populations.
- Organization & Accountability: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and use data to track progress and outcomes.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and ability to travel within Goodwill’s service area
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
