Cemetery Maintenance Technician
Position Summary:
Evanston Parks and Recreation District is currently seeking a full-time Cemetery Maintenance Technician to join their team at their facility in Evanston, WY.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for participating in the maintenance and operations of the Evanston Cemetery.
Requirements:
- Operates a variety of tools and equipment to maintain cemetery and garden grounds, including a backhoe and a lawn mower.
- Maintains tools and equipment.
- Participates in grounds maintenance activities; installs and repairs landscaping.
- Installs and maintains irrigation systems.
- Locates plots and assists funeral directors as needed.
- Opens and closes grave sites; assists in the setting of vaults, markers, and monuments.
- Performs turf maintenance duties; applies fertilizer, pesticide, and herbicide.
- Participates in snow removal operations.
- Possesion of or ability to readily obtain a valid commercial driver's license issued by the State of Wyoming for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $39,826.06 per year
