We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Advocate to join our early childhood center-based program. The Family Advocate will play a crucial role in supporting families, promoting positive parent-child relationships, and ensuring that children receive the resources they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with families.
- Conduct home visits and family assessments to identify strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement family partnership agreements.
- Provide resources and referrals to community services.
- Advocate for families within the program and the community.
- Facilitate parent education workshops and support groups.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support children’s development.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of family interactions.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experience working with families in an early childhood or social services setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skills (helpful).

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
