Our Client Development Associate team connects with local companies to assess their telecommunications needs and provide additional information on AT&T services when applicable. The efficiency of our personalized outreach helps support client development by becoming more familiar with the local consumer base in Minneapolis.
The Client Development Associate will initiate the sales process with local business customers and provide an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. With assistance from sales management and client representatives, you will advise potential customers on potential options to help enhance their telecommunications service and make client services work for their business needs.
Client Development Associate Responsibilities:
- Become efficient in sales by connecting with local businesses, presenting powerful solutions, and closing deals.
- Generate new business through in-person meetings and strategic sales outreach to build a robust book of customers.
- Conduct engaging client consultations to understand business customers’ needs and tailor AT&T solutions.
- Manage a full-cycle sales process, from generating leads to signing contracts and follow-up if necessary.
- Collaborate with a supportive and competitive Client Development Associate team to share best practices and celebrate successes.
- Maintain and update detailed customer records and sales activities in our CRM.
- Develop a deep understanding of AT&T's client portfolio to confidently recommend and sell services.
- Achieve personal and team-based sales goals with consistent and deliberate effort.
Client Development Associate Qualities:
- High School Diploma required; Coursework in Business, Management, Operations, Communications, or a similar field is preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to adapt.
