We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable LUBE TECH LEADER/TRAINER to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the lube and maintenance department, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery
- Train new and existing team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive repair techniques
- Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist with performing vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other light repairs
- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing proper procedures for heavy lifting, tool usage, and vehicle handling
- Support sales efforts by explaining services to customers and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment that complies with all safety regulations and dealership policies
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair and service technician roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive service systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead or train team members in a fast-paced environment
- Experience performing oil changes, tire service, brake inspections, and general vehicle maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform manual tasks regularly throughout each shift
