TXM QUICK LUBE TRAINER/LEADER

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable LUBE TECH LEADER/TRAINER to join our automotive service team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of vehicle maintenance services, with a focus on oil changes, tire service, and general vehicle upkeep. As a leader and trainer, you will inspire and mentor team members while maintaining the highest standards of automotive repair and customer service. Your expertise will help drive operational excellence, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure our customers receive exceptional care for their vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the lube and maintenance department, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery
• Train new and existing team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive repair techniques
• Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Assist with performing vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other light repairs
• Promote a culture of safety by enforcing proper procedures for heavy lifting, tool usage, and vehicle handling
• Support sales efforts by explaining services to customers and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment that complies with all safety regulations and dealership policies

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair and service technician roles
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive service systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead or train team members in a fast-paced environment
• Experience performing oil changes, tire service, brake inspections, and general vehicle maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform manual tasks regularly throughout each shift
