Fast paced state-of-the-art manufacturing company looking for qualified candidate to work in our Estimating Department. Candidate must have previous work experience in manufacturing environment. We work with customers to price and develop prototypes as well as develop fixtures and methods to streamline long run production runs. Compensation depends on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Review customer RFQs, prepare cost estimates and quotes
• Identify and qualify all cost factors such as time, labor, materials, equipment, engineering, outside services, manufacturing, delivery, and other expenses to generate accurate estimates.
• Must be able to formulate an estimate from blueprint drawings and Solid Models.
• Consult with customers, vendors, and co-workers to discuss and formulate strategies and estimates and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Efficient and confident on computer, including MS Office
• Experience with modern day manufacturing methods, including all facets of machining and welding
• Prior Machining or experience in the Machining Industry is a MUST
• Must be familiar with Materials used in machining, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Red Metals, Steel, Tool Steels, etc.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to multitask and work in fast paced environment
• Work well with others yet also work alone
• Estimating in 5 Axis is a MUST

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
