Survey Technician

EBH is a full-service civil engineering and surveying firm committed to providing quality, professional
engineering, surveying, grant writing, and program application services. We serve municipal, county,
state, federal, and private clients, completing project types in wastewater, water, transportation,
airports, land development, and community enhancements. Some of the industries we have provided
services for include commercial, religious, education, industrial, and manufacturing clients.
EBH has been serving our clients since 1951 in Kansas from seven office locations. The strength of EBH
is in the value and creativity of our employees and the relationships we build with our clients.
EBH is looking for a survey technician to join our team.
Education
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Post-secondary education is preferred but not required
Position Location
Great Bend, Cimarron, Goodland, Neodesha, Pratt, Hillsboro, Marion and Eudora
Job Duties
As a Survey Technician, you will perform entry-level survey work with supervision from a Survey Crew
Chief. You will learn to accurately perform a variety of land surveys construction staking and required
calculations. You will also travel to job sites at different stages of completion and work in all types of
terrain and weather conditions.

- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Have ownership in the work you do
- Able to travel out of town overnight
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Some computer skills
