What are the responsibilities and job description for the EEI Human Resources Manager position at Evangelism Explosion III Inc?
Basic Function: Coordinates all human resources (HR) activities, including but not limited to compliance, employment, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with administration of company-wide policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with corporate objectives and legal requirements
- Maintains human resources information system (HRIS) and employment records
- Supports Payroll Administrator through communication with employees; ensures procedures and policies are being followed, gathers and files required documentation
- Coordinates recruiting and hiring process; manages job postings, schedules and facilitates interviews, conducts reference and background checks, negotiates salary offers, sends job offers
- Provides management with recommendations for titles, salary ranges, and hiring
- Coordinates with management to create and maintain job descriptions
- Leads employee-relations activities/programs such as training, orientations, and employee appreciation events
- Responds to inquiries regarding EEI?s processes, policies, procedures, and programs
- Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management
- Conducts investigations into claims of EEI policy violations or misconduct
- Assists in the administration of company compensation and benefits programs
- Initiates and facilitates performance appraisal process
- Conducts exit interviews and communicates findings to management
- Assists with the negotiation of contracts with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, and consultants
- Pursues continuing education on employment law and maintains knowledge of legal requirements affecting HR functions
- Promotes communication within EEI; sends out announcements regarding office closures, staffing changes, contact information, policy updates, etc.
- Assists in planning and execution of certain events
- Coordinates administration of workers? compensation and unemployment claims
- Assists with OSHA compliance
- Other duties as assigned
