Cashier at Local Market

Thank you for your interest! We are looking for a dedicated cashier to join our team. We are your local farmers market in Merrillville- Evan's Farmers Market.

Some requirements for this position are

• Knowledge of fruits and vegetables so you are quickly able to recognize the proper fruit or vegetable you are ringing up.
• Simple math skills- adding and subtracting
• Being kind and friendly to our loyal customers

The hours are flexible. We are looking for a committed employee who we are able to depend on

This is a perfect job for a student to work after school. Or if someone would only like to work in the mornings or the afternoons. We are very flexible. We just asked that you are dependable, we are counting on you and so is the community, ​this market feeds a lot of families in the neighborhood for over 20 years.

Currently it is harvest season and we have a lot of pumpkins coming in and apples for the fall time and we need lots of extra help.

Pay range varies on your experience and the quality of your work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
