Spanish Translator

Eva Lee & Associates is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spanish Translator to accurately translate written materials between Spanish and English while preserving meaning, tone, and intent. The ideal candidate has strong linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Translation & Language Support

• Translate written documents, correspondence, reports, and other materials from Spanish to English and/or English to Spanish.
• Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate while maintaining the original meaning and tone.
• Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, and quality.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all translated documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify context, terminology, and translation requirements.
• Manage multiple translation assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Organize and maintain digital files of original and translated documents.
• Provide administrative support related to translation projects as needed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential materials with professionalism and discretion.
• Follow company quality standards and translation guidelines.
• Identify and resolve linguistic or contextual issues in source materials.
  
  

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Spanish, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both Spanish and English (written fluency required).
• Professional translation certification or formal language training.
• Experience translating business, legal, technical, or professional documents.
• Familiarity with translation tools or terminology management systems.
• 1-3 years of professional translation or language-related experience.
• Strong grammar, spelling, and editing skills in both languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document formatting tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
