Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Buyer - Connectivity to join our Group Purchasing Department. Reporting to the Head of Technical Purchasing, you will manage a purchasing portfolio covering the Group's connectivity needs and play a key role in optimizing supplier performance, costs, and strategic partnerships.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, technical, and operational teams, contributing directly to the success of Eutelsat's global projects.

Who You Are:

You are an experienced technical buyer with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of technical, Telco, or Satcom markets. You are proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a cross-functional and international environment. Your open-mindedness, tenacity, and listening skills enable you to build long-term, value-driven supplier relationships.

What You'll Do:

• Identify, evaluate, and select the best suppliers for connectivity-related technical purchases
• Negotiate optimal purchasing conditions and contracts to achieve savings and cost-reduction objectives
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with key suppliers
• Act as a category expert, supporting internal stakeholders from needs analysis through product/service definition
• Manage sourcing, selection, and negotiation activities for technical purchases across all Eutelsat Group entities
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure optimal service delivery

What You'll Need:

• Master's degree (Bac 5) in Engineering, complemented by a Purchasing qualification (MAI, DESMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical purchasing role (Telco, Satcom, or similar environment)
• Strong knowledge of purchasing levers, value analysis tools, and contract negotiations
• Proven experience managing supplier relationships in an international context
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
