What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Administrator position at EuroPerfumes?
Who we are:
EuroPerfumes is the leading distributor of Niche Perfume brands to specialty retailers throughout the United States. We represent established and emerging brands such as Juliette Has a Gun, Roja Dove, Maison Francis Kurkdjian and many others.
In order to ensure effective transit, storage, and tracking of products inside an organization, the logistics administrator is in charge of organizing and overseeing the logistical activities. To optimize schedules, keep precise records of shipments and deliveries, and streamline supply chain operations, they collaborate closely with vendors, suppliers, and transportation firms as directed by the Head of Operations.
Management of Orders and Inventory
-Handle and track orders, making sure they are accurately and promptly entered into inventory and order management systems (Sage and transition to Odoo).
-To prevent shortages or surplus supply, keep track of stock levels and update inventory records on a regular basis as directed by the HOO replenishment schedule.
-Organize order picking, packing, and shipping in coordination with the warehouse staff.
-Stage orders based on ship dates and set up the Order board based on cancel dates to ensure effective operations.
Shipping Coordination
-To schedule shipments and delivery, make transportation arrangements and neogiatee rates with carriers.
-As required, prepare shipment documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms as designated by the customer.
-Follow warehouse notes as demonstrated by the EDI team to service our customer request as best needed.
-Route and communicate shipment request in collaboration with the EDI team and follow customer guidelines as they are spelled out.
-Make sure that supplies are received and shipped on schedule, and keep an eye on shipments to confirm on-time delivery.
Compliance and Documentation
-Ensure that all shipping activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, including customs regulations and safety standards.
-Keep all relevant documentation organized, up-to-date, and accessible for audits.
- As needed, review and communicate returns and exchanges while making sure that all transactions are accurately documented.
Sales Support and Resolution
-Address the sales team inquiries about order status, shipment tracking, and delivery times.
-Resolve logistical issues, such as delays, shortages, or damages, promptly and efficiently.
-Work with the Euro sales team team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely responses.
Miscellaneous
- Work with the HOO and collaborate on projects as designated or determined by HOO for the organization.
The expected base pay range for this position is $18.00-$22.00 an hour, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
